I couldn’t resist buying a dragon fruit at the local greengrocers yesterday. Its vibrant pink beckoned me! On its own it tasted of a cross between a kiwifruit and a ripe pear. Blended in this juice it thankfully added some much needed sweetness to offset the greens. TIP: If you’re new to green powders, you might like to use only 1 tsp of the greens powder initially as it’s a bit of an acquired taste or add more dragon fruit.
Ingredients:
- 75g dragon fruit (could use a bit more if you prefer it to be sweeter)
- 50g baby spinach
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 tbsp Aldi green powder (spirulina, wheatgrass, barleygrass, chorella)
- 12 medium ice cubes
- 100ml water (more if you want a thinner consistency)
Blend and enjoy for a snack.
